November 16, 2005 - Private Australian speed camera operator Tenix is in trouble with Australia’s Victorian government. Thanks to a miscalculation by a Tenix speed camera on Sharps Road at Tullamarine at the end of last month, 41 drivers were accidentally issued fines for going over 70 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

In July, a Tenix camera accidentally issued fines to over 100 drivers on the Hume Highway.

Tim Holding, Minister of Police, has indicated great frustration and hinted that Tenix’s government contract might be canceled.
