August 6, 2007* – Ricoh last week announced a firmware update for the Caplio GX100. Version 1.16 adjusts exposure when shooting with the flash in bright light and fixes two display errors.

When enlarged in the Playback mode, images shot in 3:2 or 1:1 were misaligned on the LCD. This error, along with a glitch with the zoom display on the LCD have been addressed.

The newest update incorporates previous firmware updates. Version 1.16 can be downloaded from Ricoh’s website. For full details, visit the company website.
