August 3, 2005 – Casio has released a firmware update for their ultra thin Exilim EX-S500. The update fixes a problem that caused the wrong white balance setting to be registered when saving a user setup, along with a distortion problem visible in the upper portion of snapshots recorded during video capture. The update also takes away the opportunity to display menus in Russian, condensing the list of supported languages to English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.
