December 6, 2005 – Ricoh has launched a digital camera resource site that breaks down the types of valuable functions generally available on compact digital cameras. The site is ultimately a series of commercials marketing Ricoh's compact line that may also potentially act as an educational guide to compact camera features.

However, while there is an open and obvious slant toward illustrating the features of their own models, point-and-shooters looking to explore the compact digital camera market will find the explanations and tutorials useful. Topics covered include: Megapixels, shooting speed, vibration correction and battery life.
