March 28, 2005 — With the melting snow and spring air come rebates on last year’s digital cameras. Konica Minolta announced a $200 rebate for the Maxxum 7D digital single lens reflex camera. The manufacturer is also offering $100 back for the purchase of an Epson printer when coupled with a Konica Minolta Z2 or Z3. A $50 rebate will be given to buyers of the Z2 or Z3 digital camera models.

Purchases of the printer and camera combination must be made together on the same receipt. To qualify for one of the rebates, consumers must buy the products between March 1 and June 30, 2005 (except for the Maxxum 7D, which started March 14). The rebates are only good in the United States.

"These new consumer rebates put the power of digital photography within everyone’s reach," said Todd Schrader, vice president of marketing for Konica Minolta Photo Imaging U.S.A., Inc. "Whether a consumer is making their first digital camera purchase, or they’re upgrading to the top-of-the-line digital SLR, there’s a rebate available to make their purchasing decision much easier."

Users can download the rebate forms at Konica Minolta’s web site, kmpi.konicaminolta.us; users can also view the status of their rebate at web-rebates.com/konicaminolta.
