GretagMacbeth and HP to Offer Color Seminar

December 9, 2005 – Color management solutions leader GretagMacbeth, its color support and training extension GIA and Hewlett-Packard (sponsored by Adobe, Eizo, HOW magazine, Pantone and Quark) are offering a "Color Control Freak" seminar for photographers, graphic designers and art directors looking to improve their knowledge of color technology. Currently the agenda posted for the seminar includes: Color Fundamentals, ICC Color Management, Application Setup, Handling Color in Your Documents, and The Proof is in the Print. Not surprisingly, attendees will also be introduced to the new Quark XPress 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2.

The one day seminar costs $299/person and includes lunch and a "Designer’s Color Toolkit," consisting of a monitor calibration system, a dynamic learning DVD on Color Management for Designers, CD-based color tools, presentation slides, the "Need to Know: Color by Design" manual.
