September 30, 2005 - Seiko Epson Corporation, better known as Epson, continues its legal fight to protect its intellectual property.

Though a recent settlement occurred here in the States between Epson and the suppliers of Print Rite branded cartridges, which infringe upon a number of Epson patents, the legal action is now heating up in the UK. Epson is ready to do battle with a British importer of Print Rite products, Mills Computer Products (International) Limited, in England’s High Court.

Epson has had previous successes with actions against other manufacturers and importers of Epson compatible print cartridges, including Environmental Business Products Limited.
