Corel Introduces Corel Paint Shop Pro X, Offers Discount

*February 17, 2006 – *Corel, the software company, is rolling out their Corel Paint Shop Pro X and offering a discount as an enticement to users.

Between February 15 and March 15, 2006, purchasers of the new Corel Paint Shop Pro X will receive a 20% discount on a full purchase, or 10% off an upgrade purchase.

Features on the new Corel Paint Shop Pro X include the usual pro editing tools one might expect, as well as preset functions Corel refers to as "Make Over" tools. These are functions that help remove wrinkles from human subjects and make those tans tanner and whitened teeth even whiter.

There is also a self-explanatory "clone" tool and an "object remover," as well as the typical tools used for reducing noise and touching up old digitized photos.
