February 13, 2006 – Chaudigital has released Da Vinci Fibre Gloss paper, a new inkjet digital archival photographic paper for digital black and white printing. Chaudigital claims that the paper’s surface is capable of emulating the look of bromide prints.

Da Vinci Fibre Gloss paper is comprised of a coated fibre bonded to an acid free base. The paper is manufactured to absorb printer pigment inks in a way that achieves the depth and smooth tonal gradients with high visual sharpness that is typical of quality black and white film prints.

Da Vince Fibre Gloss paper has a DMax of 2.7.
