Canon Releases Firmware Update 1.1.0 For EOS 5D, 1D Mark II n

*July 5, 2006 – *Today, Canon, Inc. released firmware version 1.1.0 for the EOS 5D and 1D Mark II n. The update now supports direct printing to the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 and Pixma Pro 9500 printers with both cameras.

For the 5D, version 1.1.0 also offers improved support for EOS Capture software after 138 shots, according to the today’s Canon press release. The update also corrects flash mode transitions from TTL to manual with the Speedlite ST-E2 and 580EX flash.
