May 9, 2006 – *To accommodate the onslaught of new DSLRs on the market, Adobe Systems Incorporated released a patch yesterday to provide raw support for the new models in Adobe Photoshop CS2. It can also work for Adobe Photoshop Elements versions 3.0 and 4.0. The download is available for Macintosh or Windows operating systems for free on the company web site.

The Adobe Camera Raw 3.4 plug-in adds eight new models to its list. They are as follows:

  • Canon EOS 30D

  • Epson R-D1s

  • Leaf Aptus 65

  • Leaf Aptus 75

  • Olympus EVOLT E-330

  • Olympus SP-320

  • Pentax *ist DL2

  • Samsung GX-1S

With yesterday’s update, Adobe Photoshop now offers raw file support for more than 120 different digital cameras.
