The camera came on time I was surprised of the condition it was in perfect condition. It is my first Mirrorless camera i started with the Sony a100 and worked my way up to a55. I like the Sony brand. i have a Sony NEX6 as a back up camera so far i have only taken a few pictures and i am very pleased with them. Thank you

Had this camera a few months and am loving it. This is my first real camera and it has been easy to pick up and use. I was able to easily start using full manual controls and get pretty good pictures from the start, still working on improving. I like having different dials for different adjustments making shooting in manual easy even for beginners.

Great Camera

I purchased the a7II for the purpose of being able to use vintage lenses from Konica, Minolta, Leica, Pentax, Olympus, Industar, Pentax, Zeiss, Fed, Contax, Kiev, Yashica, Nikon, Canon and a host of others. The Sony a7II has the widest range of after-market adapters for the above brands I mentioned, and possibly more. This camera can take rangefinder lenses, as well as SLR lenses, which is a huge advantage to any professional photographer. I love the way it feels in my hands. The shutter click sounds amazing. And the smaller than average size (it's mirrorless) is perfect. The menu layout is very logical and easy to figure out. The display automatically changes from viewfinder to LCD screen, and you can turn that off if you want. Add one more plus:  It's a full-frame sensor!

Everything I need in a camera

I'm so pleased that I switched to a mirrorless fullframe and SONY has made this possible by making it very affordable with very little compromises. the AF is very good
comparing it to similar priced semi-professional fullframe DSLRs.  Also, considering that recent firmware updates have made most of my canon lens perform at native speeds, it wasn't too difficult letting go of my canon 6D.  I'm impressed.

Outstanding entry level Camera

Before this, I had an a7. The Mark II is definitely nice. The autofocus, while improved, isn't something I'd consider a significant betterment of this camera. Still don't like how a lot of its functions, including the EVF, are battery-drainers. In order to get the most out of the batteries, I keep mine in Airport Mode at all times. All-in-all: 8/10. The Zeiss glass made me come back to Sony over Canon.

Nice Camera

This Sony a7 II was bought as a platform for my old Rokkors for which it's nearly perfect. 5-axis image stabilization for 45 year old lenses? Pretty cool. I wish the overly large and way-too easily moved exposure dial was on the top left part of the camera, out of the way but where it belongs. Also, it could use a fully articulating rear screen. Boo hiss!! Also, the Pre Auto Focus option will infuriate you. Get your shot framed, focus, and the camera will refocus and refocus and refocus and... Grrr. I finally found that option embedded in the  menu and disabled it. I still have plenty of APS-C Alpha gear that I absolutely love using, but for my old Rokkor lenses, this camera is da bomb!

Great camera, Needs 2 changes.

I bought this camera some months ago, the quality of the pictures are very bad, this is the worst camera I ever had in my life. I'll try to use the raw format, that supposed to be the best quality and even in this case the pictures was dark.
